It’s for 16-30 year olds. However, some residences only accept people aged 18 and over.
Whatever your situation: in training, apprentice, student, intern, employee or job seeker, you can request accommodation.
Our length of stay is flexible: from a few weeks, to a few months and up to 2 years. The notice of departure is only 8 days.

The residences offer practical services: self-service, collective kitchen, laundry, multimedia room, internet access, gym, etc.
We also organize activities and outings: sporting, cultural and leisure.
Employees are present to guide you in your administrative procedures (APL, taxes).
They also offer you individual support in terms of professional integration and housing.

We offer fully furnished accommodation.
We have a wide range of accommodation: room, T1, T1 bis, T2 and T3.
The vast majority of rooms are equipped with a bathroom and toilet.
From T1 all accommodations are equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom and toilet.
The majority of housing is located in collective residences.
Some accommodation is located in small collectives or scattered throughout the city.

Monthly rates vary depending on residences, type of accommodation and cities.

The rent is payable at the end of the month. You therefore only have to pay the deposit of 1 month’s rent when you enter the Habitat Jeunes residence.
It includes all charges (electricity, heating, housing tax, etc.).
The level of APL is higher than in other types of housing.
You benefit from APL as soon as you enter the accommodation.

The APLs:
CAF helps pay your monthly housing payments.
Personalized Housing Allowances (APL) are means-tested.
The Housing Solidarity Fund (FSL):
Are you having significant difficulties paying your housing-related expenses (rent debts, etc.)?
Under certain conditions, the FSL can help you.

Some Habitat Jeunes residences welcome many young people aged 16 and over.
The majority of them are apprentices. They then have night watchmen for everyone’s safety.
In addition to their own accommodation in collective structures, young people also benefit from the presence of adults.
You will be advised and guided in your training course and your administrative procedures.
This way, you are assured of not being isolated.

Action Logement offers a range of assistance measures allowing you to advance the costs linked to entry into accommodation.
You then have a guarantee on the payment of the rent or even mobility and moving assistance.

Habitat Jeunes residences are not authorized to accommodate people over 30 years old.
There is no possible exception. The majority of residents are between 18 and 25 years old.
